Michael Amedeo Tumolillo, the author of newsroomnext and a Web producer based in Hong Kong with the International Herald Tribune, is an award-winning, multimedia journalist with strengths in feature writing, documentaries, breaking news and Web site management.
He produces stories and information products using text, video, animations, social media, audio and photos.
His key skills include writing, editing, online information networking, interviewing, organizing and multimedia authoring.

Amedeo obtained a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University in 2004. He worked as a business and general assignment reporter with The Albuquerque Tribune beginning November 2004. He performed extensive video work from January 2007 to June 2007 for The Tribune, and was promoted to Web director in July 2007.
After Scripps announced the closure or sale of The Tribune, Amedeo launched a job hunt that threw him to Hong Kong as a Web producer with the International Herald Tribune.
